Ila Earle Fowler notebook, 1927-1928.

This collection is a notebook created by Ila Earle Fowler between 1927 and 1928. Much of the material appears to be notes used during Fowler's involvement with the Woman's Club of Central Kentucky and the Frankfort (Kentucky) Woman's Club. The notes concern the brief histories of various Kentucky churches, the biography of Kentucky statesman William Orlando Butler, a booklet about the proposed Memorial Monumental Boulevard starting at the Lincoln Monument at Hodgenville, and book reviews (possibly used as speeches to the women's clubs) of "The Pageant of America" and "The Training of an American: Earlier Life and Letters of Walter Hines Page." Genealogical information about the Montague and Earle families is also included.
